Scope of analysis:

Chemical Analysis:

  • Paper, paperboard, corrugated fibre board: Ash content, pH, Moisture Content, Water Spray test, Cobb test, Grammage as per IS Guidelines
  • Plastic allied material: Migration test (Overall) as per IS 9845: 1998
  • Tin Containers - Tin coating, Lacquer curing test, Lacquer Continuity test
  • Plastic Feeding Bottle - Ageing resistance, product resistance of printed container, permanency of pigment, capacity of scale as per IS guidelines
  • Plastic Bottle for Mineral Water - Potability Test, Capacity, ESCR as per IS Guidelines
  • BOPP Tapes - pH as per IS 13262:1992

Mechanical Analysis (As Per IS Guidelines):

  • Paper, paperboard, corrugated fibre board: Bulk, Bursting Strength, Burst Index, Ring Crush test, Folding endurance, Tensile strength and elongation, Tear index, Edge Crush Test, Blocking Resistance, Scuff proofness, Flat crush tester etc.
  • Corrugated Fibre Board Boxes and wooden boxes - Box dimension and style, Type of flute, Vibration and compression strength, Incline impact test, Rolling test, Drop test, Stack Load test
  • Plastic and Allied materials - Thickness, Heat Seal Strength, Melt Flow index, Modulus of Elasticity, tensile strength, Elongation at break, Dart impact test, water vapour transmission rate, Gas (o2) permeability, Coefficient of Friction (Static & dynamic).
  • Blow Moulded Plastics Container - Thickness, Handle Strength, Leak Proofness, Hydraulic Pressure, Brimful capacity, ink adhesion, Closure leakage test, Drop test.
  • HDPE Bags - Denier, Breaking load, Mesh, Seam Strength, No of stitches of seam.
  • Tin Containers - Handle Pull Test, Leakage Test, Hydraulic Pressure test.
  • Plastic Caps and Closure - Compressibility for cork composition sheet, recovery of cork, Torque test
  • BOPP Test - Adhesion Strength of pressure sensitive adhesive tape to metal, Anchorage of adhesives in pressure sensitive cellulose tapes, Determination of stability of pressure sensitive tapes.
  • Metal Drum - Leakage test, Hydraulic Pressure test, Drop test, Seam width, Thickness, Diameter of closure
  • Wooden Pallet/ Plastic Pallet - Drop test, stacking test.
